Easy-to-Make Schezwan Fried Rice Recipe

Schezwan fried rice is a deliciously spicy and flavorful dish that has become a favourite in many households. Let’s explore below how this delicious and easy recipe can be prepared by using HerbsHi Schezwan seasoning which adds a mouthwatering peppery flavour!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice 

  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame oil)

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced (any colour)

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and beans)

  • 2-3 tbsp HerbsHi Schezwan Seasoning

  • 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions:

1. In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat and add the chopped onion and garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

2. Next, add the diced bell pepper and mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

3. Add the cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps. Stir well to combine with the vegetables.

4. Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle generous amounts of HerbsHi Schezwan seasoning for an authentic peppery taste. Mix everything thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld and the rice to heat through.

6. Finally, garnish with chopped green onions and Enjoy while it’s hot!
