Chilli Garlic Tofu

Herbs Hi

Ingredients

  • 200 grams firms tofu

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1teaspoon Herbs Garlic Granules

  • 1 teaspoon HerbsHi Fiery Chili Flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 1-2 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)


Method

  • Dry the tofu with a kitchen towel to drain any excess water. Then cut it into cubes.

  • In a non-stick pan add all on medium heat and then add the tofu. Saute for about 5 minutes, flipping occasionally to cook until golden brown.

  • Add the soy sauce, sriracha and honey over the tofu Then make a corn flour and water mix (1 tsp flour with 2 tbsp water). Add the corn four mix to the tofu and stir for 2 minutes. Then add the HerbsHi garlic granules, HerbsHi Fiery Chill Flakes, black pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  • Garnish options include sesame seeds or spring onions.
